Ingredients
- Flounder - 17.6 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 2 pieces
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Coconut flakes - 2 tablespoons
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 1 tablespoon
- Lime Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Cotton Oil - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Finely chop the chili pepper. Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, peel, and chop.
Step 2
In heated oil at 320°F, sauté the onion and garlic for 3 minutes, add the chili pepper and tomatoes, mix everything and sauté for another 2-3 minutes. Then add coriander, salt, and coconut flakes, and sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
Step 3
Cut the fillet into portion-sized pieces and immerse them in the hot sauce, add lime juice and 2 cups of water. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes, then add cilantro and simmer for another 2 minutes.
