Description
Flounder with Capers and Lemon Butter
Ingredients
- Flounder - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 3 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Capers - 1.8 oz
- Lemon - ½ piece
- Parsley - 1.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dredge the fish in flour mixed with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Heat a large non-stick skillet over high heat, pour in the oil, and wait until it heats up. Place the fish in the oil and shake the skillet to ensure the fish does not stick. Leave the fish for 4 minutes until a golden crust forms, then flip the fish and cook for another 4 minutes (without disturbing).
Step 3
While the fish is cooking, prepare the caper and lemon butter. Heat a small skillet over medium heat, add the butter, and wait until it starts to bubble. Then stir the butter with a wooden spoon until the foam begins to subside and turn brown. Quickly add the capers, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Continuously stir the mixture actively. Remove from heat and do not cool.
Step 4
Once the fish is ready, place it on plates and drizzle with the hot caper and lemon butter.
