- Millet - 2 cups
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Onion - 2 heads
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Vegetable Oil - 2 fl oz
- Salt - to taste

Rinse the millet and pour boiling water over it.
Step 2
Bring 800 ml of water to a boil, add salt, pour in the millet, and cook, stirring, for 15–20 minutes until thickened.

Cover the pot with a lid and place it in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Peel, wash, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Step 5
Peel, wash, and slice the onion into thin half-rings.
Step 6
Place the prepared vegetables in a skillet with heated vegetable oil, add salt, and fry until cooked.
Step 7
Add the fried carrots and onions to the cooked porridge and mix thoroughly.
Step 8
Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Step 9
Serve with tomato sauce or mayonnaise.
