- Rice - 1 cup
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Bananas - 2 pieces
- Parsley - 1.8 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice, add 1 cup of water, salt it, and bring to a boil over high heat.
Step 2
Then reduce the heat and cook first over medium heat and then over low heat until all the liquid evaporates.
Step 3
Cover the pot with a lid and cook the porridge for another 15 minutes on very low heat.
Step 4
Wash the bananas, peel them, slice them into rounds, and sauté in melted butter.
Step 5
Add the sautéed bananas to the rice and gently mix.
Step 6
Season the finished porridge with salt and pepper, serve in individual plates, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Step 7
Serve with roasted meat or fish.
