Ingredients
- Basmati rice - 1 cup
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Fresh Mushrooms - 1.8 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Toasted Sesame - to taste
- Pumpkin seed oil - to taste
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 piece
- Soy Sauce - to taste
- Mild Chili Spice - to taste
- White Cabbage - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the rice: 1.5 cups of water for 0.5 cups of rice. Cook until the water is fully absorbed, then remove from heat and set aside for a while.
Step 2
Peel the carrot and cut it into small cubes, cut the bell pepper in the same way. Heat 0.5 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and add the carrot, bell pepper, a bit of chili, drizzle with soy sauce, and cook for a few minutes.
Step 3
Crush the garlic and chop the ginger. Add everything to the pan and sauté for a few minutes.
Step 4
Chop the cabbage leaves, add them to the pan, and lightly drizzle with oil. Stir and cook for about 10 minutes.
Step 5
Slice the mushrooms and add them to the pan. Cook for a couple of minutes.
Step 6
Chop the onion and add it to the pan along with the pumpkin and sesame seeds. Cook for a couple more minutes and add the rice, then a bit of soy sauce. Simmer until the rice absorbs all the juices, adding herbs to taste.
