Description
Gruyère cheese and Sbrinz can be replaced with any mild hard cheese.
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 24.7 oz
- Garlic - 0.1 oz
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- 10% cream - 5.3 oz
- Salt - 0.2 oz
- Ground Nutmeg - to taste
- Gruyère cheese - 1.4 oz
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Sbrinz Cheese - 1.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the potatoes into 2–3 mm rounds.
Step 2
Chop the garlic.
Step 3
Grease the baking dish with butter.
Step 4
Grate the cheese (if using two types) and mix.
Step 5
In a pot, bring the milk and cream to a boil, add salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Step 6
Add the potatoes and bring to a boil.
Step 7
Add half of the grated cheese, stir, and transfer to the baking dish.
Step 8
Sprinkle cheese on top, add pieces of butter, place in a preheated oven at 320°F for 25 minutes, then increase the temperature to 428°F and bake until golden brown.
