French-Style Pork Neck Steak
Ingredients
- Pork Neck - 24.7 oz
- Butter - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 1½ tablespoons
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Balsamic Vinegar - ½ teaspoon
- Dijon Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 pieces
- Herbes de Provence - ½ teaspoon
- Thyme - 2 sprigs
- Green peppercorns - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a deep bowl, combine mustard oil and soy sauce.
Step 2
Add balsamic vinegar.
Step 3
Then add Herbes de Provence.
Step 4
Add mustard. Mix well.
Step 5
Crush the garlic with a chef's knife.
Step 6
In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter, add garlic and thyme.
Step 7
Place the steaks on top.
Step 8
After 3–4 minutes, flip the meat and garlic.
Step 9
Brush the steaks with the resulting sauce.
Step 10
After 3 minutes, flip again and season with mixed peppercorns.
Step 11
Reduce heat and cover with a lid.
Step 12
After 7 minutes, the dish is ready. Transfer to a plate and serve.
