Step 1
Peel the potatoes, slice them thinly, and place them in a greased baking dish.
Step 2
Sprinkle with pepper, add salt, and mix well.

Grate the cheese using a coarse grater.
Step 4
Beat the eggs with the milk, add half of the grated cheese, and mix well.
Step 5
Pour the beaten eggs over the potatoes and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Ten minutes before it's done, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
