Description
Fried Chicken with Milk-Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- Garlic - 2 heads
- Poultry - 42.3 oz
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Water - 3 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the cleaned and washed chicken along the breast, flatten it, brush with vegetable oil, season with salt, and place it on a baking sheet skin side up. Bake the chicken in the oven at 392°F for 45 minutes.
Step 2
Once the chicken is ready, cut it into serving pieces, ensuring each piece has skin, and arrange it in a fireproof ceramic dish, preferably in a Georgian clay ketsi. Preserve the juices from the baking sheet that were released during cooking.
Step 3
For the sauce, pour the milk and water into a non-stick pot, add the juices from the baking sheet and crushed garlic. Place the pot over medium heat and stir until it comes to a boil. The sauce is ready.
Step 4
Pour the sauce over the chicken and return it to the oven for about 5 minutes. Serve in the dish in which it was cooked.
