Description
Fried Hake
Ingredients
- Hake - 10.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Fish Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Thaw the fish. The best way to thaw fish is to transfer it from the freezer to the refrigerator, where it will gradually defrost. If the fish was purchased by weight, transfer it to a suitable container and cover it. A second safe and quick method for thawing fish is to take it out of the freezer and place it in a pot of cold water. If you bought the fish in a plastic bag, do not remove it from the bag. If the fish was purchased by weight, place it in a bag, expel as much air as possible, and put it in cold water. The fish should not come into contact with water or air while thawing.
Step 3
Clean the hake from scales, cut off all fins, remove the insides, rinse well, and dry.
Step 4
Remove all bones from the fish.
Step 5
Cut the fish into small portion-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
In a separate container, combine 2 tablespoons of flour and 1 teaspoon of fish seasoning. Mix all the ingredients.
Step 7
Coat each piece of fish in the flour mixture.
Step 8
Place a frying pan over heat and pour in the vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, add the floured fish to the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and fry over medium heat until golden brown.
Step 9
Flip the fish to the other side, cover the pan with a lid, and fry over medium heat until golden brown.
Step 10
Serve warm or hot.
