Ingredients
- Halibut - 1½ kg
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the halibut fillet into portion-sized pieces and season them with salt on both sides. Heat a skillet with vegetable oil (preferably a skillet without a handle or with a steel handle so it can be placed in the oven later) and sear the fish for four minutes on one side and two minutes on the other.
Step 2
Place the skillet with the fish in an oven preheated to 392°F for two to three minutes.
Step 3
Remove the skillet with the fish, place the pieces on plates, drizzle with olive oil, and serve. For example, with boiled asparagus.
