Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Halloumi Cheese - 8.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Lime - 1 piece
- Capers - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Champagne Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove the wrapping from the cheese and dry it with a towel, then cut it into 8 pieces.
Step 2
Prepare the dressing. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice and zest, capers, garlic, coriander, grainy mustard, white wine vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil, then add salt and pepper.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Dredge the cheese slices in flour mixed with salt and pepper, and fry for 2 minutes (1 minute on each side).
