Ingredients
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 10.6 oz
- Potato - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Water - 10 fl oz
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Pour oil into a skillet and heat over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the pasta and stir to coat all the pasta in oil.
Step 4
Fry until golden brown, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Pour in a glass of water and stir, preventing the pasta from sticking together.
Step 6
Add salt and pepper.
Step 7
Cover with a lid and reduce the heat.
Step 8
The pasta should be soft, and there should be no water left. If the pasta is ready but there is still water, open the lid and increase the heat slightly to evaporate the excess water. If the pasta is not ready and there is no water left, add a little water and cook until done.
Step 9
Cut the tomato into large pieces.
Step 10
Sauté the tomatoes in the heated butter. Serve them on top of the cooked pasta. Sprinkle with chopped onion.
