Fried Pasta with Chicken Fillet and Ginger
Ingredients
- Pasta (corkscrew) - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Chicken fillet - 14.1 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 2 pieces
- Soy Sauce - to taste
- Dill - ½ bunch
- Parsley - ½ bunch
- Scallions - ½ bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - to taste
- Paprika - to taste
- Pickled garlic - to taste
- Cornichons - 3.5 oz
- Lecho - 7.1 oz
- Ketchup - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Salt the water and boil the pasta for about 8 minutes. Drain the water and add a little butter to prevent the pasta from sticking while waiting.
Step 2
Rinse the chicken fillet, chop it finely, and soak it in a deep bowl with a mixture of water and soy sauce.
Step 3
Slice the onion into large half-rings. Finely chop a little pickled ginger. Dice the bell pepper. Depending on their size, cut the cornichons into large pieces.
Step 4
Sauté the chopped vegetables in a pan with a little sunflower or olive oil for about 3 minutes.
Step 5
Drain the water from the bowl with the chicken fillet. Add the fillet pieces to the pan with the vegetables. Fry over medium heat with the lid off, stirring occasionally, until the fillet is browned. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Once the fillet is browned, add the cooked pasta and mix. Fry for another 10 minutes, stirring.
Step 7
While the dish is simmering in the pan, prepare the dressing. Finely chop the green onion, parsley, and dill. In a deep bowl, mix the herbs with lecho and a little ketchup to taste. Add cumin seeds, paprika, and a quarter cup of water. Mix well.
Step 8
Add the dressing to the frying dish and stir.
Step 9
Simmer the dish for another 5 minutes.
