Ingredients
- Pike - 2 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Onion - 1 piece
- Scallions - 1 bunch
- Herbs - 1 bunch
- Safflower Oil - 1 qt
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the pike thoroughly. Rub with salt, pepper, and drizzle with lemon juice to taste. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, slice the onion into rings and place it in a preheated pot with oil. Add a little salt. Sauté.
Step 3
Once the onion turns golden, add the pike to the pot. The oil should completely cover the fish.
Step 4
The fish should fry for about 10 minutes on each side.
Step 5
While the fish is frying, finely chop the green onion.
Step 6
Place the fish on a plate and sprinkle with green onion. Garnish with herbs on top.
