Ingredients
- Orange zest - 1 tablespoon
- Veal Tenderloin - 12.3 oz
- Chili Flakes - ½ teaspoon
- Onion - 1 head
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Broccoli - 2 cups
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Fettuccine Pasta - 8.8 oz
- Orange juice concentrate - 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Macadamia Nuts - 0.3 cups
- Kung Pao Sauce - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the diced meat and orange zest.
Step 2
In a wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the red pepper flakes, sliced onion, and diced red bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the small broccoli florets and 3 tablespoons of water, cover, and cook for 1-2 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp. Transfer to a plate.
Step 3
Meanwhile, boil the pasta in boiling water until cooked.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix the orange juice, soy sauce, and hoisin sauce.
Step 5
Return the wok to medium heat and add the remaining oil. Add the meat and cashews and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Return the vegetables to the wok and add the orange juice mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
On plates, place the fettuccine and top with the meat and vegetables.
