Fried Pork with Fish Sauce and Green Beans
Ingredients
- Chinese green beans - 10.6 oz
- Fish Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pork tenderloin - 14.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Banana Leaves - 3.5 oz
- Cilantro - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Orange zest - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Blanch the green beans in boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Drain the hot water and place the beans in cold water while the pork is cooking.
Step 2
Slice the pork thinly across the grain into rectangular pieces (2x5 cm) and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the finely chopped garlic, lime zest, cilantro, and chili pepper for 1 minute.
Step 4
Add the meat to the spices and stir-fry quickly for 2-3 minutes. Then add the fish sauce, sugar, and beans, continuing to stir and shake for about 1-2 minutes.
Step 5
Mix the cooked meat and beans directly in the pan with the lime leaves.
