Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 24.7 oz
- Pickled Chanterelles - 10.6 oz
- Cream 22% - 7 fl oz
- Butter - 1.4 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 1 qt
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Bring water to a boil in a pot and add salt.
Step 2
Add the frozen chanterelles without thawing. Cook for 20 minutes (to avoid bitterness).
Step 3
Peel, wash the potatoes, and cut them into large pieces.
Step 4
Drain the mushrooms in a colander and let the water drain.
Step 5
Heat half of the butter in a skillet and fry the chanterelles until golden brown (the excess moisture from the mushrooms will evaporate during frying).
Step 6
Add the remaining butter, potatoes, and fry over medium heat for about 30 minutes until cooked.
Step 7
3-4 minutes before cooking is done, add the cream and stir.
