Ingredients
- Scallops - 24.7 oz
- Milk - 1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- White Pepper (whole) - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil - 3 fl oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Thyme - 2 teaspoons
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the scallops in half lengthwise and rinse thoroughly. Soak in milk for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Mix the flour with pepper and salt, then coat the scallops in the mixture.
Step 3
Heat olive oil (6 tablespoons) in a skillet and fry the scallops until they form a light brown crust.
Step 4
Place the scallops on a plate. Pour the remaining oil into the skillet and keep it on the heat until the oil slightly darkens.
Step 5
Drizzle the scallops with oil, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and thyme. Serve with lemon wedges or mayonnaise.
