Ingredients
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Sesame Oil - 1 teaspoon
- White Pepper (whole) - a pinch
- Corn Flour for Polenta - 1 tablespoon
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 12 pieces
- Green peppercorns - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Chili jam - 10 fl oz
- Soba Noodles - 8.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the egg, sesame oil, white pepper, and corn flour in a bowl, stir well, and add the shrimp.
Step 2
Heat a wok over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until smoking, then add the vegetable oil. Add the chopped green pepper and carrots and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add the shrimp and fry for 30 seconds, then add the chili sauce and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2 minutes, remove from heat, and let sit for a while.
Step 3
Cook the noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until soft. Drain and divide between 2 plates, top with shrimp and drizzle with sauce.
