Fusilli pasta with tomato sauce
Ingredients
- Water - 25 fl oz
- Pink Himalayan Salt - to taste
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pasta shells - 8.8 oz
- Hard Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour water into a pot, place it over high heat, and add salt.
Step 2
Add 2 drops of olive oil to the water.
Step 3
Add the pasta to the boiling water. Bring it back to a boil and reduce the heat to medium. Cook until al dente, according to the time indicated on the package.
Step 4
Grate the cheese using a fine grater.
Step 5
Once the pasta is ready, immediately drain the water.
Step 6
Place half of the pasta on a plate.
Step 7
Add half of the cheese on top.
Step 8
Layer the second half of the pasta on top of the cheese.
Step 9
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Step 10
After a minute, stir. Add mayonnaise.
Step 11
Add tomato sauce.
Step 12
Mix thoroughly and serve.
