Fusilli with Broccoli and Two Types of Salmon
Ingredients
- Pasta shells - 17.6 oz
- Smoked haddock fillet - 7.1 oz
- Hot smoked pink salmon - 7.1 oz
- Shallot - 4 pieces
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Marinated cherries - 8.8 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Broccoli - 10.6 oz
- Dry White Wine - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the florets from the broccoli stem and break them into small pieces (the stem is not needed, you can juice it and drink it).
Step 2
Add the broccoli to salted boiling water and cook for 2–3 minutes.
Step 3
Then drain the water.
Step 4
Finely chop the shallots.
Step 5
Crush the garlic with the side of a knife and also finely chop it.
Step 6
Cut the fresh salmon into cubes.
Step 7
Tear the hot smoked salmon into flakes, removing the bones.
Step 8
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
Step 9
Sauté the shallots and garlic in olive oil until soft over low heat for about 5 minutes.
Step 10
Add the fresh salmon and sauté for another 2 minutes.
Step 11
Add the cherry tomatoes and white wine, simmer for about 1 minute.
Step 12
Add the broccoli, hot smoked fish, and finely chopped basil and parsley, mix, turn off the heat, and keep warm.
Step 13
Cook the fusilli according to the package instructions.
Step 14
Mix with the sauce and serve.
