Garlic and spiced marinated pork fat, baked in the oven

Ingredients

  • Mustard Greens - 0.7 oz
  • Garlic - 7 cloves
  • Pork fat - 3 lbs
  • Salt - to taste
  • Spices - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Wash the fresh pork fat thoroughly and cut it into small pieces, rub it well with spices (I used a seasoning for kebabs and coarsely ground black pepper). Stuff with garlic. Coat all sides with mustard. Wrap in foil and refrigerate overnight.

Step 2

In the morning, take the pork fat out of the refrigerator, and bake it in the foil, without unwrapping, at 392°F for about 30-40 minutes. After that, open the foil and bake for another 10 minutes to brown it. It can be eaten both cold and hot. You can wrap it in foil and store it in the freezer.
