Ingredients
- Cilantro - 2 bunches
- Walnuts - 10.6 oz
- Spanish onions - 1 piece
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Saffron - 2 teaspoons
- Uchiko Suneli - 2 teaspoons
- Vinegar essence - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
- Beetroot - 2 lbs
- Coriander essential oil - 2 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into thin half-rings. Chop the walnuts in a blender or grind them in a meat grinder. Mash the garlic into a paste. Finely chop the herbs. Combine all the ingredients, season with spices, add vinegar, and mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Step 2
Wash the beets and boil or roast them in the oven until cooked.
Step 3
Peel the cooked beets and cut them into short thin strips. Mix with the dressing. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for one and a half to two hours. Then mix well again and serve.
