Ingredients
- Pale ale - ½ l
- Whole egg - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 2.1 oz
- Butter - 0.5 oz
- Ground Nutmeg - a pinch
- Grated Ginger Root - a pinch
- Ground clove - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the ale into a pot and add the nutmeg, ginger, and cloves, stirring constantly. Heat slowly until the mixture is warm. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until well combined.
Step 2
When the mixture of ale and spices becomes warm, add the beaten egg yolks and continue to heat, stirring constantly, until the liquid begins to thicken. Do not heat too much, or the yolks will turn into scrambled eggs. Heat for a couple of minutes, then remove from heat and whisk in the butter until it is completely incorporated.
Step 3
Froth the milk for the cappuccino using a small frother and pour it into cups.
