Step 1
Slice 10 thin pieces from fresh ginger root. Place them in a large glass, and add 1 slice of fresh lemon. You can also add star anise or cinnamon to taste. Pour boiling water over the mixture and cover it, allowing it to steep for about 10–15 minutes.
Step 2
After that, add honey to taste (it's better not to add honey right away, as it loses all its beneficial properties at temperatures above 140°F). You can use a cup with a lid or a thermos.
