Glass Noodles with Chicken and Vegetables
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 17.6 oz
- Rice Noodles - 5.3 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 3 pieces
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Toasted Sesame - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken breast into small pieces.
Step 2
Slice the large carrot into thin strips.
Step 3
Also slice the bell pepper into thin strips.
Step 4
Fry the pieces of chicken breast in vegetable oil.
Step 5
Add the sliced carrot.
Step 6
Add the bell pepper. Mix everything and simmer for 10–15 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
Step 7
Add salt to taste.
Step 8
Add half of the minced garlic from a garlic press or finely grated. Mix and simmer for another 2 minutes.
Step 9
Pour boiling water over the glass noodles and let them sit for 5 minutes.
Step 10
Rinse under cold water.
Step 11
Add the chicken and vegetables to the glass noodles.
Step 12
Mix the soy sauce with the remaining minced garlic.
Step 13
Add the garlic soy sauce to the dish and mix well.
Step 14
Lightly toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
Step 15
Add the sesame seeds to the glass noodles and mix.
Step 16
The dish can be served warm or cold.
