Description
Recipe taken from a collection of recipes by Anna Johnson.
Ingredients
- Gluten-Free Flour - 5.3 oz
- Water - 2 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Tofu - 7.1 oz
- Green Onion - 1.8 oz
- Onion - ½ head
- Ground Dried Garlic - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Curry - to taste
- Paprika - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix water, salt, and vegetable oil.
Step 2
Make a well in the sifted flour and pour in the water. Knead the dough in a bowl, then on the table for 5 minutes. The dough should be dense and elastic. Place the dough in a bag and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Finely chop the green and regular onions. Squeeze the moisture out of the tofu over a separate bowl with your hands to make it crumbly.
Step 4
Place all ingredients in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, add spices, mix well, add flour, and mix again. The filling should stick together easily.
Step 5
Roll the dough into a log. Cut into pieces. Choose the thickness of the pieces as desired. Cover the pieces of dough with plastic wrap to prevent them from drying out. Take a piece of dough and roll it into a flat circle, place the filling inside, and seal the dumpling.
Step 6
Cook the dumplings in a steamer for 10–15 minutes or boil or fry in a pan.
