Description
Prepared gnocchi can be wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in the refrigerator for up to a month. Bon appétit!
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 2 lbs
- Wheat Flour - 10.6 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Parmesan Cheese - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the potatoes, place them in a pot, cover with cold water, and boil until tender. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool.
Step 2
Grate the Parmesan cheese using a fine grater.
Step 3
Peel the cooled potatoes and also grate them using a fine grater.
Step 4
Add half of the grated Parmesan, eggs, and flour to the bowl with the potatoes, along with salt to taste. Knead until a uniform dough forms. The dough should not be tough and should not stick too much to your hands.
Step 5
Divide the dough into several equal parts, then roll each part into sausages about 1.5–2 cm thick. Cut the sausages into small pieces to form the gnocchi.
Step 6
Using a fork, press it into the surface of each gnocchi first lengthwise and then crosswise to create a pattern.
Step 7
Boil the gnocchi in salted boiling water in small batches for 2 minutes each (the gnocchi should float to the surface when done).
Step 8
Drizzle the cooked gnocchi with melted butter, sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan, cover, and keep warm until serving.
