- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour - ½ cup
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Paprika - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
- Ocean salt - ½ teaspoon
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 2 pieces
- Chicken bones - 2 pieces
- Chicken Thighs - 2 pieces
- Peanut Butter - ¾ cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rub the chicken pieces with salt. In a bowl, mix both flours, ginger, paprika, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Transfer to a bag and add the chicken pieces. Mix well and place the meat on a plate. Refrigerate for 1.5 hours. Remove from the refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Then place the chicken back in the breading bag and mix well.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, slightly reduce the heat, and add the chicken pieces. Fry, turning occasionally, for about 25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel, then to a plate, and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
