Ingredients
- Butter - to taste
- Powdered Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Pecans - 1.8 oz
- Balsamic Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Arugula - 3.5 oz
- Grapes - 1.8 oz
- Blue Cheese - 4.9 oz
- Endive Leaves - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, caramelize the nuts. Heat the butter and powdered sugar in a small skillet, then add the pecans. Cook on low heat for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Spread on a greased baking sheet, let cool slightly, then chop coarsely. Mix the vinegar and olive oil until smooth, then add a little salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
To serve, tear the endive leaves and place them in a bowl with the arugula. Cut the grapes in half, remove the seeds, then add to the bowl with the dressing. Gently mix everything together and divide among 4 plates. Crumble the cheese and nuts on top. Drizzle with the remaining dressing and serve.
