Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice - 8.8 oz
- Spanish onions - 1 piece
- Frozen spinach discs - 10.6 oz
- Water - 2 cups
- Feta cheese - 5.3 oz
- Scallions - 1 bunch
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Step 2
Thaw the spinach.
Step 3
In a deep skillet, heat the oil and sauté the onion until translucent.
Step 4
Add the rice and sauté everything together for another five minutes.
Step 5
Add the thawed spinach.
Step 6
Chop the green onion, add it to the rice, stir, pour in the water, and add salt.
Step 7
Cook over medium heat until the rice is done.
Step 8
Add chopped dill and stir.
Step 9
Serve the rice on plates, sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese, drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil.
