Ingredients
- Hazelnut - 3.5 oz
- Chinese green beans - 17.6 oz
- Tomatoes - 17.6 oz
- Sour Cream - 3.5 oz
- Red Wine Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Mixed salad greens - 8.8 oz
- Basil - 0.4 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add the green beans to boiling salted water and cook until tender (five to eight minutes). Drain, rinse with cold water, and set the pot aside, covering it with a towel.
Step 2
If using green walnuts, they should be chopped. If using ripe ones, toast them in a skillet over medium heat for about five to seven minutes until golden brown, and then coarsely chop.
Step 3
To prepare the salad dressing, whisk the sour cream with vinegar in a bowl, then season with salt and pepper. Add the diced tomatoes, gently mix, and let it sit for ten minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 4
Mix the herbs with two tablespoons of dressing and distribute them onto plates. Do the same with the beans, then place them on top of the herbs so that the tomatoes are on top of the composition. Serve the salad sprinkled with nuts and garnished with basil leaves.
