Ingredients
- Chinese green beans - 10.6 oz
- Toasted Sesame - 2 tablespoons
- Oranges - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
- Olive Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Malt Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Orange juice concentrate - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the green beans in salted water for 5 minutes. Remove the beans and sauté with sliced onion in olive oil.
Step 2
Cut the orange in half. Squeeze juice from one half. Separate the flesh of the other half from the membranes and cut into small pieces.
Step 3
Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet.
Step 4
Combine the bean-onion mixture with the orange flesh. Dress the salad with the orange dressing. To make the dressing, combine olive oil with wine vinegar and orange juice. Add salt and pepper.
Step 5
Sprinkle the finished salad with toasted sesame seeds.
