- Onion - ½ piece
- Chinese green beans - 6 oz
- Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
- Red Grape Juice - 1 fl oz
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the green beans and trim the ends. Place them in boiling water and cook until tender (about 25 minutes for fresh and 15 minutes for frozen). Drain the water through a colander. Cut the beans into 2–3 pieces.
Step 2
Chop the onion. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Wait for the oil to heat up and add the onion. Sauté until the onion starts to change color and shape (slightly yellow). Add the beans and stir. The flavor of the oil and onion should infuse into the beans.
Step 3
After 5 minutes, pour the wine into the mixture. Stir and wait for the wine to evaporate, leaving its flavor and red color on the vegetables.
Step 4
Add the sour cream, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together. Allow the sour cream to warm up. Done.
