- Safflower Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 head
- Chinese green beans - 3 lbs
- Bacon - 5.3 oz
- Parsley - 4 stems
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add the green beans and bring to a boil again, then cook uncovered for 10-12 minutes until tender. Rinse with cold water.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a skillet, add finely chopped onion, and cook over low heat, stirring, for 5 minutes until soft. Add finely chopped bacon and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the green beans to the skillet and cook for 5-10 minutes. Season with salt and add parsley.
