Ingredients
- Buckwheat Groats - 7.1 oz
- Shallot - 1 head
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Leek - 1 stalk
- Morels - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Philadelphia Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the shallots and garlic, slice the leeks into thin strips, and cut the mushrooms (button mushrooms, shiitake, or chanterelles) into arbitrary slices or chop them finely as well.
Step 2
In a mixture of butter and olive oil over medium heat, sauté shallots and garlic, then add buckwheat, stir, pour in boiling water, and simmer covered for ten minutes. After that, add leeks and mushrooms and simmer for another ten minutes. Finally, season with salt and pepper, stir in cream cheese, and serve.
