Green Salad with Grapes and Parmesan
Ingredients
- Mixed salad greens - 5.3 oz
- Grapes - 8.8 oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Shallots - 3 pieces
- Cilantro - 1 bunch
- Extra virgin olive oil - 6 tablespoons
- White Wine Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Freshly ground black pepper - a pinch
- Sea Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the shallots into half rings, place them in a bowl, pour in the wine vinegar, and lightly crush them. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Tear the salad greens by hand, add the seedless grapes and finely chopped cilantro.
Step 3
Remove the shallots from the vinegar and add them to the salad, keeping the vinegar.
Step 4
Slice the Parmesan cheese into thin strips using a cheese slicer (a vegetable peeler will also work).
Step 5
Mix the vinegar that the shallots were marinated in with the olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and pour the dressing over the salad.
Step 6
Toss everything well and top with the strips of cheese.
