Description

Grilled pork ribs in BBQ sauce with vegetable salad and baked potatoes

Ingredients

  • TABASCO® - 0 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil - 1 qt
  • Date honey - 10.6 oz
  • Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
  • Garlic - 0.7 oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce - 7.1 oz
  • Ketchup - 17.6 oz
  • Pork Skewers - 2 lbs
  • Bay leaf - 0.2 oz
  • Ground clove - 0.4 oz
  • Salt - 1.1 oz
  • Water - 1 qt
  • Salad Potatoes - 17.6 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

For the brine: boil water with all the spices added. Cool down.

Step 10

Sprinkle the finished potatoes with smoked paprika, finely chopped garlic, and herbs. The pork ribs pair perfectly with a vitamin-rich salad.

Step 2

Soak the ribs in cold brine for 1 day.

Step 3

Steam the salted ribs for 3 hours.

Step 4

Remove the cooked ribs. Cool down.

Step 5

To prepare the BBQ sauce: sauté the tomato paste in a saucepan with half of the vegetable oil until it turns reddish. Add finely chopped garlic, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, and TABASCO.

Step 6

Simmer at a low boil for 20 minutes, stirring constantly. At the end, slowly pour in the remaining oil. Mix thoroughly until the consistency is uniform. Cool down.

Step 7

Brush the prepared ribs with the finished BBQ sauce and bake in the oven at 356°F for 10-15 minutes.

Step 8

Rustic Potatoes: cut boiled potatoes into wedges.

Step 9

Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
