Ingredients
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Quail Egg - 4 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Ketchup - 30 oz
- Maple syrup - ½ cup
- TABASCO® - 2 teaspoons
- Mild Chili Spice - 3 tablespoons
- Worcestershire Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Sherry - 1 cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix ketchup, maple syrup, TABASCO, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and sherry.
Step 2
Preheat the grill or barbecue.
Step 3
Cut the quails in half and flatten them. Rub with salt and pepper and place on a greased grill. Grill, turning and continuously brushing with olive oil, for 15 minutes, then brush with sauce and grill until cooked through and the meat is tender.
