Description

Gulchehra is a very tender chicken dish prepared with the addition of sour cream (cream or milk). It is essential to add spices and garlic, and to thicken the sauce, flour is added. Ingredients

  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Garlic - 5 cloves
  • Milk - 1 fl oz
  • Sour Cream - 5 tablespoons
  • Black Cumin (Cumin) - ⅓ teaspoon
  • Khmeli-suneli - ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar - ½ teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
  • Poultry - 14.1 oz
  • Herbs - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut the meat into small pieces and the onion into half rings. Fry the onion until golden separately.

Step 2

Fry the meat until lightly browned. Mix the flour with the milk to avoid lumps. Add the milk, sour cream, water or broth, salt, sugar, and spices to the chicken. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the onion. Simmer until cooked, stirring (covered). At the very end, add the crushed garlic and finely chopped herbs.
