Ingredients
- Hake - 3 lbs
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Gruyère cheese - 5.3 oz
- Cotton Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Lightly season the hake inside and out with salt. Place half of the butter and half of the grated cheese inside the fish, close it tightly, trying to restore the original shape of the fish.
Step 3
Pour the corn oil into a baking dish. Place 2 halves of peeled tomatoes in the center and lightly salt them. Lay the hake on top of the tomato halves. Make shallow cuts on the sides of the fish and rub with the remaining butter. Place the other two halves of the tomatoes on the cuts and sprinkle with cheese.
Step 4
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown, so that the flesh of the fish flakes easily. Serve the finished fish directly in the baking dish.
