Ingredients
- Fillet of small-eyed hake - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Salad Potatoes - 14.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.8 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Milk - 5 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes and place them in a pot along with the peeled onion. Boil them.
Step 2
Cut the hake fillet into pieces, season with salt and pepper to taste, and coat in flour. Beat the egg and season with salt. Heat the oil in a skillet.
Step 3
Once the oil is hot, dip the fillet in the egg and place it immediately in the skillet. Fry on both sides for about 10-15 minutes.
Step 4
Then, place the sliced onion on top of the fried fillet and let it simmer. After about 10 minutes, remove from heat; the fish is ready.
Step 5
When the potatoes are cooked, remove them and mash them, adding milk and a little of the cooking water, seasoning with salt to taste. Serve the mashed potatoes topped with the fish. The dish is ready. Enjoy your meal.
