- Halibut - 2 lbs
- Onion - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Unleavened dough - 2 lbs
- Olive Oil - 3 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and slice the onion into half rings, then sauté until golden brown.
Step 2
Cut the halibut (if using a piece) into 1.5–2 cm thick pieces (if you are using halibut fillet, you can leave it whole).
Step 3
Roll out the dough and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent the pie from burning. Place the halibut on the dough, season with salt and pepper, and top with the sautéed onion.
Step 4
Next, close the pie, brush it with egg, and place it in an oven preheated to 356°F. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
