Description
A light yet hearty salad. You can substitute ham with chicken breast or turkey breast. The specified amount of ingredients makes 4–6 servings.
Ingredients
- Ham - 7.1 oz
- Marinated cherries - 10 pieces
- Onion - 1 head
- Turnips - 10 pieces
- Cucumbers - 7.1 oz
- Herbs - 1 bunch
- 9% Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the meat into strips. Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters (cut regular tomatoes into cubes). Slice the cucumbers into strips. Cut the radishes into thin slices. Slice the onion into thin half-rings (finely chop the onion, pour boiling water over it, let it sit for 10 minutes, then drain the water). Finely chop the herbs.
Step 2
For the dressing, mix the oil and vinegar, add the garlic pressed through a garlic press, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Combine the meat, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, onion, and herbs. Add the dressing and mix well.
