Ingredients
- Lime Juice - 2 fl oz
- Sugar - ¼ cup
- Fish Oil - 2 fl oz
- Chinese Five Spice - 2 teaspoons
- Green Papaya - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Grated Ginger Root - ½ teaspoon
- Scallions - 2 stalks
- Cilantro - ½ bunch
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a jar with a screw-top lid, pour in the lime juice and fish sauce, add sugar and Chinese chili sauce, shake well, and season with salt if necessary.
Step 2
Peel the papaya, cut it in half lengthwise, and remove the seeds. Slice it into thin strips or grate it.
Step 3
Place the tomatoes in boiling water for 2 minutes to soften the skin, then remove it, cut the tomatoes into quarters, and remove the seeds. Chop the tomato flesh.
Step 4
Chop the chili, removing the seeds. Mix it with the tomatoes and papaya, add grated ginger and chopped herbs. Shake the jar with the dressing again and pour it over the salad.
