Ingredients
- Potato - 10.6 oz
- Beetroot - 5.3 oz
- Carrot - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 1.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Mayonnaise - 1.1 oz
- Scallions - 2 pieces
- Capers - 2 pieces
- Cream of Norwegian Herring - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the vegetables and boil them in their skins, cool, peel, and grate each separately. Boil the eggs, cool, peel, separate the whites from the yolks, and grate. Finely chop half of the herring and slice the rest. Peel the onion, chop it into small cubes, and scald with boiling water.
Step 2
Mix the carrot, beetroot, half of the finely chopped herring, some of the egg white and yolk, and the onion with mayonnaise.
Step 3
Place the potato on a sushi mat, then add the filling and roll it up, shaping it. Lay thin slices of herring on one side and carefully shape it. Cut the roll into 6 pieces, place on a plate, grate the egg, and garnish with onion and capers.
