Description
All vegetables can be ground in a meat grinder.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 5 lbs
- Turnips - 17.6 oz
- Antonovka apples - 17.6 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 17.6 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 6 pieces
- Sugar - 1 cup
- 9% Vinegar - 8 fl oz
- Garlic - 5.3 oz
- Salt - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - 1 cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the tomatoes, carrots, apples, and bell peppers in a blender.
Step 2
Transfer to a pot and cook for 2.5 hours over low heat, then add vinegar, sugar, vegetable oil, and chopped chili peppers.
Step 3
Cook for another hour, then add the garlic pressed through a garlic press and salt.
Step 4
Cook for another 15 minutes.
Step 5
Once the adjika has cooled slightly, transfer it to jars, and cover with a plastic lid once it cools completely.
Step 6
Store in the refrigerator.
