Description
After reading the grape wine recipe, the home preparation process may seem very labor-intensive, but it is not; do not be afraid, everything is quite simple. Using this grape wine recipe, you will get approximately 6 liters of semi-dry aromatic homemade beverage.
Ingredients
- Grapefruits - 22 lbs
- Sugar - 10.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Take unwashed (this is very important, otherwise fermentation will not occur) grape clusters and carefully pick the berries off.
Step 2
In an enameled bucket, crush the grapes by hand or with a pestle in small batches until a lot of juice appears.
Step 3
Then cover the container with cheesecloth and leave it to ferment in a warm place for about 4–5 days. Stir the mixture twice a day with a wooden spoon.
Step 4
After the grape pomace rises, strain it through a colander to let the juice drain and squeeze it through cheesecloth.
Step 5
Next, pour the clean grape juice into jars and add the granulated sugar, mixing well.
Step 6
Put a washed medical glove over the neck of the jar, poke a few holes in the fingers with a needle, and tightly secure it with a rubber band around.
Step 7
Leave the wine to ferment for 2–3 weeks at room temperature. Watch the glove; at the beginning of the process, it will inflate, and when it deflates, the wine is ready.
Step 8
Once the yeast settles, the wine clarifies, and the 'bubbles' stop, carefully strain it. During the straining process, ensure that the yeast does not get into the clean bottles, and cork them.
Step 9
Take the grape wine to a cool place for about a month, and during this time, transfer the wine to other bottles three times, leaving the sediment in the previous ones.
Step 10
Then let the wine sit for another month in a cool place, and you can taste it.
