Ingredients
- Ground meat - 17.6 oz
- Rice - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Sour Cream - 1 tablespoon
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 5 fl oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Svan Salt - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Safflower Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the rice in salted water until half-cooked.
Step 2
Combine the ground meat with the rice, add the egg, pepper, Svan salt, and mix well.
Step 3
Add 1 tablespoon of flour. This will help the mixture hold its shape.
Step 4
Spread the remaining flour on a flat surface. Form balls from the mixture and roll them in the flour.
Step 5
Heat a frying pan well, add a little sunflower oil, and place the meatballs in it. Fry on both sides for 1 minute.
Step 6
Transfer the meatballs to a heatproof dish.
Step 7
Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 8
Chop the onion into small cubes.
Step 9
In the same frying pan, sauté the onion, garlic, and carrot.

Add the tomato paste, sour cream, and water to the vegetables. Mix thoroughly and season with salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 minute.

Pour the sauce over the meatballs and place in a preheated oven at 392°F. Cook for 30 minutes.

The finished meatballs can be garnished with herbs and vegetables.
